WASHINGTON, D.C. -  Today, House Republicans united behind legislation introduced by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast and Rep. Chip Roy to sanction the International Criminal Court for its unwarranted targeting of Israel.

"I don't care if you are a terrorist in a cave or a lawyer at the Hague, if you get in the way of bringing American hostages home, then you will be given no quarter and you damn well shouldn't expect to be welcomed on American soil with open arms," said Chairman Mast.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Yesterday, the House Foreign Affairs Committee's Foreign Arms Sales Task Force held the second in a series of roundtables featuring defense industry perspectives on reforming and improving America's foreign arms sales process.

As part of the bipartisan engagement, members heard from industry representatives from the Aerospace Industries Association and National Defense Industrial Association on the regulatory and bureaucratic challenges U.S. companies face in arming our allies and partners with American-made equipment and technology at the pace of war.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast and Ranking Member Gregory W. Meeks sent a letter to Secretary of State Marco Rubio urging U.S. engagement in support of Jamaica’s recovery and electrical infrastructure reconstruction following Hurricane Melissa. 

The hurricane, which made landfall in October, was the strongest storm to make landfall in the Atlantic Basin in history and left catastrophic damage to core infrastructure in its wake.

Washington, D.C. — Chairman Michael McCaul is once again reiterating that all House Foreign Affairs Committee Members must be granted access to the July 2021 Dissent Channel cable as well as the State Department's official response in order to satisfy the March 28th subpoena he issued. Chairman McCaul and Ranking Member Meeks were granted access to the cable last week, but the State Department has refused to give other Members – including those Members on the committee who served in Afghanistan – the same access.
