Washington, D.C. – House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) announced the Committee will meet TOMORROW, Thursday, January 7 at 10 a.m. to consider:

H.R. 1797, End Neglected Tropical Diseases Act, (Mr. Smith) To facilitate effective research on and treatment of neglected tropical diseases, including Ebola, through coordinated domestic and international efforts.

H.R. 3662, Iran Terror Finance Transparency Act, (Mr. Russell) To enhance congressional oversight and ensure the administration does not lift sanctions against individuals involved in Iran’s ballistic missiles program or terrorism.

H.R. 4314, Counterterrorism Screening and Assistance Act of 2016, (Mr. Zeldin) To require a plan to combat international travel by terrorists and foreign fighters, accelerate the transfer of certain border security systems to foreign partner governments, establish minimum international border security standards, authorize the suspension of foreign assistance to countries not making significant efforts to comply with such minimum standards.
