McCaul Condemns CCP's Deceptive Online Campaigns Targeting US, Other Countries

Washington, D.C. — House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul issued the below statement following reports China is ramping up deceptive online campaigns targeting the United States and other countries.  

"I condemn the CCP's increasingly deceptive online campaigns targeting the U.S. and other countries. The CCP has made clear it will use every tactic to spread its malign intent. TikTok is not the only threat to democracy. The Biden administration must stay vigilant against Beijing's manipulation efforts and not tolerate this kind of aggression."
