Chairman McCaul Delivers Remarks At Bipartisan Press Conference With Families of Hamas Hostages
Washington, D.C. - Yesterday, Chairman Michael McCaul delivered the following remarks at a bipartisan press conference alongside the American Jewish Committee and families of individuals held hostage by Hamas.

"It is shocking to me that we now have witnessed the largest killing of the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Since my father's war: World War II. ... What we are seeing in Gaza is very dark now. We have these hostages, and these families - bring them home now. Bring them home. They are in darkness. Literally, in tunnels. I talked to a mother, her daughter came out and she said, 'My daughter was in darkness.' She hadn't seen the sun in 50 days in a tunnel, and she was in darkness. They brought her out into the light. We need to provide that light. The light always overcomes the darkness."
