Chairman Mast on Two-Year Anniversary of Oct. 7 Attack

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Brian Mast issued the following statement marking the two-year anniversary of the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas on Israel.

“For hundreds of days, following the October 7 genocide, the Palestinian elected government of Hamas terrorists held and tortured the Americans they did not kill, and held the bodies of those they did kill. Today, 730 days later, they still hold nearly 20 living hostages, and the corpses of those they murdered in captivity. 

I thank President Trump for working to bring all the hostages as well as the dead home, and for working to end Hamas’ reign of terror, so this war can end.”
