McCaul Sickened by Recent Russian Attacks on Ukraine, Demands Action From Biden

Washington, D.C. – House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul released the following statement in response to recent Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure across Ukraine. 

“I am sickened by Russia’s deliberate strikes across Ukraine against children’s playgrounds, public parks, streets during rush hour, and energy and water infrastructure – none of which hold military purpose. I urge the Biden administration and our allies and partners to immediately ramp up security assistance to Ukraine in response, including longer-range artillery and additional air defense systems. Putin must be made to understand such brutal escalation and war crimes will not break the United States’ and the free world’s support of Ukraine.”
