Washington, D.C. – Today, following the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Organizational Meeting for the 115th Congress, Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) released the full list of subcommittee assignments as well as the adopted Committee Rules and Committee Oversight Plan.  Chairman Royce also announced the committee will consist of 47 Members, with 26 Republicans and 21 Democrats.

Chairman Royce said:  “The House Foreign Affairs Committee has tackled some of the greatest threats facing the United States, from Iran to Russia, North Korea, and ISIS.  And it concluded the 114th Congress with a strong track record of tough oversight and effective legislating.  The committee was responsible for 24 pieces of legislation becoming public law and held over 280 hearings, briefings, and meetings.  This Congress, I look forward to working with new and returning members, as well as my good friend Ranking Member Engel, to build on our past achievements and to make America safer.”
