ouse Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) and Ranking Member Eliot Engel (D-NY) today introduced H.R. 1698, The Iran Ballistic Missiles and International Sanctions Enforcement Act. The bill, also co-sponsored by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD), targets those involved in Iran’s missile development – including foreign companies and banks.

This cowardly act will only strengthen our resolve to defeat ISIS and all those who threaten peace and stability.”

This afternoon, House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) met with a South Korean delegation, including Foreign Affairs Minister Byung-Se Yun and Ambassador Ho-Young Ahn, to discuss the importance of the U.S.-South Korea alliance and their concern over North Korea’s recent belligerent actions.
