McCaul Statement on Israel-UAE Agreement to Normalize Relations

Washington, D.C. – Congressman Michael McCaul, Republican Leader on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, released the following statement applauding the Administration for helping broker a significant normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. 

“I applaud the President for his leadership in helping establish diplomatic relations between two of our closest partners in the Middle East. This significant agreement reaffirms that these two countries, and the whole region, are better served through friendship and dialogue than division. I thank Prime Minister Netanyahu and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed, as well as the people of Israel and the UAE, for their courage and commitment to peace. It is my sincere hope that others will follow this example and embrace peace with their neighbors.”
