Washington, D.C. — House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul issued the following statement encouraging cooperation between the U.S. and South Korea in quantum information science and technologies.

“We must partner with our ally South Korea to ramp up technology innovations while preventing critical technologies from supporting the CCP’s military or human rights abuses. As technological leaders, we must stand together against CCP economic coercion and demonstrate that any effort to split us will fail.”
