House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) and Subcommittee Chairman Paul Cook (R-CA) today concluded two days of meetings and briefings in Saudi Arabia focused on threats from Iran, the conflict in Yemen and economic reform.
“As this committee continues its work strengthening national security, including reforming outdated food aid programs and overseeing implementation of critical international broadcasting reforms, we look forward to hearing from Secretary Tillerson about the administration’s foreign affairs budget.”
I urged Foreign Minister Shoukry and General Kamel to reduce ties with the North Korean regime, and promote reforms to support economic growth and civil society.
