Washington, D.C. – House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) met with Sir Kim Darroch, the British Ambassador to the United States, to discuss counter-extremism efforts and other important national security issues following yesterday’s terror attack in London.

The Chairman also expressed sympathy for the victims – including an American couple – and their families, and applauded the excellent work of police, security and emergency services.

Following the meeting Chairman Royce said:  “The United States stands with our great ally the United Kingdom during this difficult time.  And as Prime Minister May so aptly said, ‘our resolve will never waver in the face of terrorism’.  This cowardly act will only strengthen our commitment to defeat ISIS and all those who threaten peace and stability.”
