Washington, D.C.—House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) announced that Secretary of State John Kerry will testify before the Committee on Thursday, February 25.  The hearing, entitled “Strengthening U.S. Leadership in a Turbulent World: The FY 2017 Foreign Affairs Budget,” will begin at 9:30 a.m.

Chairman Royce on the hearing: “Today America faces direct threats from ISIS, North Korea and Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terror.  This hearing will provide an opportunity to hear firsthand from Secretary Kerry about the administration’s spending priorities amid these growing dangers.”
