“It is an honor to welcome the French president to the Capitol today. President Macron has energized France with his pro-growth reform agenda and his commitment to security and the fight against terror. I hope today’s address will serve to further solidify our historic alliance. In the face of growing threats from Iran and Russia, a strong U.S.-France relationship is key to promoting peace and prosperity.”
