Washington, D.C. – House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul applauds the passage of significant legislation on measures addressing various issues, such as combatting the efforts of the Putin regime in Ukraine and sanctioning the Iranian regime’s support of terror, at this week’s markup.

H.R. 4175, REPO for Ukrainians Act

This bill, introduced by Chairman McCaul, demands the Biden Administration transfer frozen Russian sovereign assets to Ukraine to pay for the damages caused by Putin’s war of aggression.

H.R. 4723, Upholding the Dayton Peace Agreement Through Sanctions Act
