Russian Bounties on U.S. Troops: Why Hasn’t the Administration Responded?
The House Foreign Affairs Committee will hold a virtual hearing to review the Administration’s response to reports that Russia offered bounties to Taliban-linked militants to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan. This hearing will examine Russia’s growing support for the Taliban as well as explore how we should understand Russia’s alleged activities in Afghanistan in the broader context of the Putin regime’s malign global agenda.
