This hearing will examine elections in Africa, including upcoming elections to watch, fallout from recent elections and COVID-19 impacts on election preparedness. Members will have the opportunity to question a private panel of researchers and practitioners on key challenges and opportunities for US foreign policy, and discuss the impact of recent and upcoming elections on US interests.
