McCaul Calls on Administration to End Iran Nuclear Talks
Washington, D.C. – In response to the Biden administration’s decision to resume negotiations on an Iran nuclear deal, House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement.
“For months, Iran has deliberately wasted time by keeping the door open for talks while its nuclear program charges forward. The administration needs to wake up to this farce and pull the plug. We will not get a remotely adequate nuclear deal out of this process. Moreover, resuming these negotiations days after the latest threat to U.S. citizen Masih Alinejad is an insult to the American people. Protecting Americans must be the highest priority, not negotiating a bad nuclear agreement with the world’s largest state sponsor of terror.”
