Aug 7, 2013

Washington, D.C. – Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement on President Obama’s refusal to meet with Russian President Putin in Moscow in September:

“This should help make clear that the Russian government’s giving Edward Snowden ‘refugee’ status is unacceptable.  Snowden should be sent to the U.S. to defend his actions in a U.S. court of law.”
